Introduzione
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and organized Senior Electronic Designer who wants to join a stimulating and constantly moving team.
The ideal candidate is an expert in electronic, digital and analog design, with a strong aptitude for analyzing and solving problems in complex systems. The candidate will be included in the R&D team and will follow the new projects from the initial definition of the specifications
electronic.
The candidate will have responsibility in the choice of components and in the drafting of electrical diagrams. He will then supervise the mastering, final validation and production phases.
It will also support and work together with firmware developers in the debugging stages of the new electronic boards produced.
DAOS works in different fields and uses a variety of electronic solutions. It’s therefore required adaptability, enthusiasm for the use of new components and a great creative ability, to be able to propose and test unconventional solutions.
The candidate will have to talk regularly with the PCB design team, RF designers and mechanical designers, as well as with the prototyping and final engineering colleagues.
The English language is indispensable with a sufficient level to support a technical conversation on engineering topics (the PCB design team is partially outsourced).
A solid knowledge of the most common electronic laboratory instruments (ballast, oscilloscope, electronic load, analyzer of logical states) and a high familiarity in their use.
The ability to program microcontrollers with simple firmware to debug the part electronics certainly constitutes a plus.
The following capacities will also be considered a plus:
– use 3D files and be able to propose mechanical solutions, aimed at the effective containment of planned boards
– using Solidworks (or other 3D modeling software, such as Creo, Inventor, Fusion 360 etc.)
– knowledge SPICE (electronic simulation in general pspice, preferred LTSpice)
– knowledge Electronic Design Software and PCB (Cadstar, Altium, Kicad)
– Python, C, C++ programming
– use Arduino environment, PlatformIO (important that these are not the only firmware writing capability)
